Job Description:
A company is looking for a Senior Datacomm DBA to manage and
optimize Datacomm subsystems on their client's mainframe.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary database administrator for Datacomm
subsystems, providing tuning and performance recommendations
Install, configure, and maintain Datacomm applications and related
tools, ensuring optimal performance and recoverability
Support development teams with technical assistance, production
support, and database change implementations
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant experience
10 years of experience in Datacomm installation, administration,
and tuning
Experience with Datacomm tools such as Insight and Catalog
Manager
Proven track record in production support and problem
resolution
